Passenger Fender: Day 2

    Worked on the fender some more today. I welded up the holes and put on a coat of filler. Once that dried I used the filler file and filed it down. Then I went to 60 grit. It will get another coat tomorrow.

Passenger Side Front Fender

    I had put a coat of the metal Fill on this fender before I packed it away a while back. so I sanded that down. Then I started working on the dents with Hammer and dolly.this fender was at some point in an accident. it has a bit of welding where it looks like someone did relief cuts and stitched it back together. They also beat the hell out of it. I'll do what I can with it and hit it with filler.

    I will also have to deal with a few holes and damaged areas.

    I shot these inner splash panels with gloss black but  Iran out of paint so I will have to hit them with 500 grit and shoot them again. I did not put any filler on these and I do not think I will. They are for the most part hidden.

Spring Cleaning

I had enough of the dust so I decided to clean the garage today. First I got the truck out in some sunlight!

Bed in Primer

Spent most of the day getting the bed in primer.... I really need to get a bigger air compressor!

Finishing up the major on the bed.

Ive done all I can do with the major dents sings and warps on this bed. It is far from perfect, it will have some character.

More Sanding & Lots of It!

    Working on my mower slowed me down a bit. I worked on the bed this morning until the mail came. My parts for my mower deck arrived so I stopped and fixed that. I had to mow after that so I was done until after dinner.

    I found this section that I never welded. I cleaned it up and welded it together.

    Here is a shot just to show the frame at the rear or the bed.

    I went back out after dinner and did some more on the bed.
